Gosh Time to Catch Up....

1.  So many things have been going on as of late.  Many many great things and some really hard things.

2. My Grandmother Gemma (as we called her) died on Sept 6, 2008.  This is the first grandparent that I have lost.  I am interested in myself because I am not that sad that she is gone.  She was a great grandmother but I wasn't really that close to her.  We lived far away and there were 21 grandchildren so she had a lot of kids to keep up with.  She lived a great life and her body just naturally wore out.  I am more sad for my Mom.  I can't imagine losing a parent...at any age really.  This was the last time I saw her.  This past summer we had a mini-family reunion and 90th birthday for her.  I am glad I got to see her then.

3. This beautiful girl and her sister came over for the night.  We watched Hook.  It was Epic.  I hope they never grow up.
4. Asheville.

I got to work in Asheville.  It was a really grand time.  I got to drive from ATL through the mountains and it was really very beautiful.  We also got to go to an incredible waterfall and a sliding rock.  Although the water was below freezing it was a blast.
