Thanks. Giving.

I love fall colors.  Too bad we don't have them for real in FL.
Bad for him. Good for us.
James can even play blindfolded. Sheesh. Not fair.
The Spread. And Dad the Pilgrim.
Our dearest Marnie. 92 in Jan. She is amazing.
Peter & I on a backyard walk after 'dinner.'
Awkward smiles.
Dessert time. So grand.
It's exhausting eating so much.
Funny new game.
Thanksgiving was quite amazing this year.  One of the best ever I think. The day just went smoothly and it was so great to spend time with my family.  They are so much fun to be around. Learned some new games...putting the flame out with your hands, signs & murder.  The day was topped off with some Breakfast at Tiffany's.  I am grateful for all the ways God makes my life comfortable.  I know many don't have the luxuries that I have. One luxury I could not live without is my family.

Charlize the Glamazon.

Look at how tall the people look in the background. She looks 7 feet tall. Ha.

Housewarming/James 21st PARTY

Festivities were combined to celebrate my new wonderful house and a wonderful brother.  James Wesley Roquemore turned 21 years old on Nov. 12th. It was a grand success.  Lots of friends came out.  James had a great time turning 21.  So grateful for him.  He is just a joy to be around.

The Roquemore Five. A lovely bunch.

Oldest to the Youngest.  Much Love exists.
Late night conversations.
Peter and one of his many many lady friends.
Over compensating for my shortness. But I can live with it.

Hotel Phillips.

The hotel in Kansas City was quite grand.  It really made the whole trip special.  I just loved the old school glamour.  And the unique details like this faucet.

Easy Breezy....

....and quite lovely.

This makes me laugh......

...they look like midgets.

New President.

Yesterday we voted for a new president.  Barak Obama won.  I feel quite apathetic to the situation.  I have so many friends who were supporting him.  I did not support either candidate.  I voted for John McCain as the lesser of the two evils.  I do know that I wish that I would have researched it a bit more.  Sometimes I feel it is hard to know what is truth and what is spin and what is propaganda.

The Fall

Did not disappoint in any way.  It was a master storytelling event.  I would go immediately, do not finish reading this, and watch it.  The Fall was filmed in 18 different countries, as the landscapes were intensely stunning.  Visually majestic and intellectually stimulating.  I felt like I was watching art, one frame after the next. Lee Pace was the main character and is quite easy on the eyes, not to mention a talented actor.
The Fall was rated R for some reason I cannot comprehend.  Hands down one the best movies of the year.

At least check out the website and watch the trailer: http://thefallthemovie.com/

Celebration of One of the Bestest: SKY

Dearest darling Steph.  She is one of the people I love dearest in my life.  We are quite a pair: her at 6' 2" and I all of 5' 1."  We love the contrast.  So beautiful inside and out. She is grand at encouragement and words of Life.  We have had such an adventure of a friendship, as we talked on the phone for A Whole Year before meeting in person.  We live thousands of miles away, but she is one of the people I feel closest too.  We make it work between Florida and New York (I much prefer NY.)  Also she is a great gift giver and such a giver in general.

Thank you Stephanie Kyle Young for being in my life.  I can't wait to enjoy another year with you.

Critical Mass

First Critical Mass.  So fun. It was on Halloween and most of the kids dressed up which was really quite grand.  There was The Joker for The Dark Knight. Always scary and maybe too soon.   Also many other entertaining get ups.  A personal favorite was a friend Callie who was a bumble bee. I can't believe I don't have a pic of her.  Also rode with newish friend Alex.  Who I quite like.  And I look quite silly in pictures I have to say.

Terrific

New friend Lauranna took this photo and I quite enjoy it.  It is amazing how much is going on that we don't see or perceive. I love talent, color and people.
