Gourmet.

I am a little too in LOVE with food. Dinner with great friends together, straight up French cooking a la Julia Child and other French Chefs. Menu planned by the super talented chef Jamie Kite.

~ Gratin Dauphinois (Scalloped potatoes with milk, swiss cheese and a touch of garlic)
~ Haricots Verts a la Provencale (Green Bean with tomatoes, garlic and herbs)
~ Chicken with caramelized Shallots
~ French Bread (naturally)
~ Wine sent over from dear Friend Jenna Hamel in Spain.
~ Brownies made from scratch. As in melt down the Swiss chocolate and fold in the flour.

Food Coma naturally ensued. Then we proceeded to watch the "Food Revolution" by Jamie Oliver, which I highly recommend. Our nation is in a scary state health wise.

These cooking nights should be happening once a month or so....so more good food stories are coming up.

Also I wish I had a little fancier camera to capture the beauty of the food.
